The members of the Workforce Investment Board are passionate about demand driven training, rigorous and relevant academic curriculums, career pathways, the professional development of teachers and counselors and educating employers about the value of career ladders in the workplace.

It is a passion shared by many in the Virgin Islands.

The Honorable Governor John P. deJongh Jr. and the Board envision a dynamic talent development system, consisting of government agencies, faith and community based organizations and the private sector working together to create a career driven, adaptable and technologically literate workforce that will be a catalyst for the attraction and growth of business and the economy of the United States Virgin Islands.

Your participation is encouraged at all levels to create and deploy training resources for the people of the Virgin Islands.
